Ladies,lets talk

Hey people, how's the week going so far? Yeah,it only just started but we've lived through one day already and that's huge.Anyway, you know i'm awesome without being told. This week isn't the reason for this post so i'm just going to get right into it.

Disclaimer: This post contains very obscene and vulgar languages, readers discretion is advised.

For those of you on Twitter, you'd have known by now that it's a world of it's own. There you'd meet the smart, the dumb, the stupid, the foolish, the confused, the crazy, the funny, the unbelievable and so on.It's a mad world entirely. However,my issue is with the ladies.

Women world over are clamoring for gender equality.They want to be respected and treated like men rather than mere 'sex objects'. Let me dwell on Nigeria,as it's where i'm mostly concerned about.We have groups who fight for gender equality in Nigeria.Groups that believe women should be treated equal with men,given the same opportunities as men and so on.While i respect and understand their struggle,i want to point out that they should be more concerned with orientation.They don't want to be seen as mere sex objects yet their actions are shameful.Now back to twitter,the Bios and avatars (profile pictures) of the gender that wants respect is really appalling.Consider these Bios;

"ilike u,ifuck u,idon't give a damn about u", "I'm a sexy ass bitch, who loves fun...#TeamBi...#TeamBigAss...I'm Bi...ladies follow only...I'm in love with","Nawti !!!! Reli nawti ....#TEAMlesbians #TEAM bi-sexual #Team dripping pussy ....anti small boobs...ff nd mention 4 a ff bac ♣". I could go on and on and on and on.And yes, they all have shameful avatars attached to them.

Ordinarily,it wouldn't have been an issue if twitter were an adult hookup site, then we'd know it's the whole idea of the site.Twitter is a site where responsible and respectable individuals go to meet other respectable and responsible individuals to unwind and rub minds.Rather than that, what you see these days are nudes. Before now,we had nudes where the faces were cut off and you'd just see the parts the uploader wants you to see.But now, you'd see their faces.I mean, the daughters of responsible parents, naked and proudly showing off their nakedness to the same people they want respect from.I'm now very confused. You complain that men don't respect you and that they see you as a sex object rather than the woman that you are,yet you're comfortable with the idea of putting up your nude pictures on the internet. How is that supposed to help you gain respect? How are men supposed to stop treating you as sex objects when you readily make yourself one? It might interest you to know that some of these women have respectable jobs.Don't get me wrong though,i'm not so bothered about the nude pictures that were supposed to be secured but somehow ended up on the internet,i'm talking about the nude pictures that were actually meant to be posted on the internet.Men have nudes too (even though they're not half as much as that of women). But they're not the ones complaining about being seen as sex objects or clamoring for gender equality.

Nudes aren't a big deal, they're supposed to spice sex up.But that's supposed to be between you and your partner and not you and the entire persons that have access to the internet. In my posts Queen of kings and You want respect, respect yourself first and Women, please know your worth ,i talked about women comporting themselves as queens who are meant for kings and knowing their worth and also respecting themselves so as to be respected. You can't call yourself a 'bitch' or say your only problem is to have lots of dicks and use your nude picture as your profile picture and expect to be approached by a king or someone respectable.I once tweeted that "Lots of u are gonna give ur kids a hard time explaining why their mom's nude pix is all over the internet to their classmates" and "I know other people's opinion of u doesn't matter, but how about the opinion of ur unborn kids of u? U sure u don't give a hoot about theirs?". If you as a woman don't see anything wrong in putting up your nude pictures on the internet, are you sure it'll be okay for your kids to stumble upon them? Would you be proud to show your kids your twitter page? For those of you ladies who still believe in self-respect,please don't falter,we're aware of your respectability.

  1. Many people don't think of the future when they do what they do - lack of foresight. It's hard to believe that some of those peeps have respectable jobs, really hard.

I always talk of shallow-mindedness. The peeps that do these fall into that category big time - when you wanna be defined by how sexy you are, rather than your achievements.

Seriously, I have no words for them. Let the future do the talking.

    1. Shallow mindedness is the best way to describe them.It beats me how some people's lack of foresight would be so apparent.

  4. Thats where maturity comes into play. A "woman" would not dare, a "girl" on the other hand just might fall into the shallow-minded category. And i do not define woman by age or looks....

  8. Values have degenerated beyond comprehension. The follow-follow craze has wiped out reasoning from many people or how can one explain the rationale with everyone wanting to have naked pix as avatars.

  11. Very well said, but to me if a woman or even a man knows WHO he is and where he is coming from it directs his/her course of life. Being a WOMAN isn't about the respectable work you do or the amount of money that you have in your accounts, but the norms and principles that guide your life. Most of those women are prostitutes or even trans-sexuals whose profession calls for such questionable practice. So Great 9ja, not all women who fight for equality demean themselves to such extent. I for one, there are certain things I can't just bring myself to do them, not that I don't know how to do them, but my personal principles won't allow that. Moreover, the Bible says "All things are lawful, but not all things are expedient"

    1. Yeah, there are different types of women, but the problem is that the good ones seem to have been affected by the bad ones. It's the case of evil communication corrupting good manners.

  14. I usually try to allow any one to do what works for them and if it is not something I can stand, I keep away and don't allow it to bother me. Are you saying that you follow these people and debate gender equality with them? otherwise, why equate them to real women you can see who are discriminated against and only seeking rights to be treated well?

Another thought, how are you sure these people are really women?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I actually don't debate gender equality with them and certainly do not follow them.I'm just saying some of these women crave and clamor for gender equality yet are not showing the fact that they really want it.I am sure they're women because i have done a little investigation before making this post. And finally,i can never equate those with real women because their actions tell otherwise,i'm just trying to say their actions affect the real women who are fighting not to be seen as mere sex objects but women.Get my drift?

    2. Question for you. Since there are more men in prison and that commit crimes, should men no more be regarded as head of the homes or stopped from running for political office. My main point is "real women are being discriminated against and they deserve their human rights.

      Delete
    3. No,they shouldn't.Question for you too,if a good number of individuals in a human rights organization are violating human rights, would the organization be regarded as credible? My point is,they portray the good ones in a bad light and that would be hammered on.I'm against women being discriminated against.

      Delete
    4. If that human rights organisation is not credible, then men are not credible either. Thank you for being against discrimination of women. #thatisall

  15. Great 9ja, most of these women that engage in this are purely prostitutes. It dosen't matter if they have a respectable jobs or not. They do this to promote the comodity they sell, which is, their body. A respectable woman who really knows her worth would never tow this line. so theres a huge difference between these kinda women and the real women that actually seek gender equality.

  16. hmmm, word for thought and I see your point about the women you talk about hampering the work of those seeking equality.

I always believe that respect is something that has to be earned and for women that this matters too, they will do all they can to earn respect by how they conduct their private and public affairs, for those seeking respect but not willing to earn it, they will never have it. Saying that I'm with Myne, I'm very careful as to who I follow on social media, if you start spewing too much rubbish, I simply unfollow, I want to read from people who edify.

  20. I keep coming back, and Keep wishing I don't say anything... Causes and effects; exceptions to the general rule... Suffice to say, that you have shared a few thoughts that will definitely keep other thoughts flowing. I always say that if we could always think generationally, we'd be able to make choices that will point posterity in the right direction. And when we think generationally, there are so many things we won't exert so much energy trying to assert. 9jagreat... U done it again mahn!

  21. I doubt the women who post such pictures, use such language etc have an issue with you not respecting them A-9ja-Great.

What I don't get is the every day woman who goes to work, church, kid's school dressed like some hoochy mama crying about not being taken seriously or respected. Granted, we all deserve to be respected as human beings but when you open yourself up by how you dress and behave, you really should not be surprised at how people treat you.

I always like to share something I understand Mohammed Ali told his daughters. He said to them that all of the earth's precious items, diamonds, gold, oil, etc are found deep under the ground. To get them, you have to mine far, dig deep. He asked them if they felt they were less valuable than any of these precious stones. Of course we know what they said in reply. So, he asked them, why do you leave all your 'precious item's so easily, so carelessly for all to see. They should be left for that special man you choose to marry to mine for, dig deep for.......I might be old school but I totally buy into this.

As for the issue at hand, I have sort of given up on this generation of ours...we are worse that the old generation we condemn. You do not even need to blackmail anyone just tell people where to get the nudes and it shall be found...sigh!
